YogaOutlet is (despite the name) a major contemporary online clothing retailer, offering a wide selection of yoga apparel and gear from the best brands in the industry. The above video was taken from an influencer retreat in Brooklyn, NY.
Setting the proper tone as a brand meant using a visual design language that contrasts against preconceived notions of an outlet store. That focus spanned across all marketing types (brand, digital, social, etc) as well as the storefront UI. We were named to Internet Retailer's prestigious Hot 100 List for innovation in E-commerce.
The brand started small and lean: when I came on board in 2014 as Art Director we were doing a few million in revenue per year. After a full reworking of the brand and marketing strategy we are now on track for $35 million this year.
The scope of brands YogaOutlet carries gave us freedom to maximize visual impact through imagery. We collaborate with brands to create photography that entices users and drives sales.
A robust marketing calendar keeps customers coming back. Campaigns rely heavily on trends and our own user data to forecast how to position sales and promotions.
The brand benefits from integrations from a variety of third party platforms. Any design efforts needed are lead by my team.
No apparel brand survives without social media. Ours is seriously put together, and informed with ever changing data sets.
